Specific LiveForum Rules

1. No spam. All automated messages, advertisements, and links to competitor websites will be deleted immediately.
2. Post in relevant sub-forums only. Messages posted in the wrong topic area will be removed and placed in the correct sub-forum by moderators.
3. Respect other users. No flaming or abusing fellow forum members. Users who continue to post inflammatory, abusive comments will be deleted from the forum after two warnings are issued by moderators.
4. Harassment. No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Any instance of threatening or harassing behavior is grounds for deletion from the forums.
5. Adult content. No profanity or p*********y is allowed. Posts containing adult material will be deleted.
6. Illegal content. No re-posting of copyrighted materials or other illegal content is allowed. Any posts containing illegal content or copyrighted materials will be deleted.

 

 

General LiveTube Rules

LiveTube aims to become the trusted source for live news – for reporters, audiences, and publishers. In order to achieve this goal, there are some limitations on the type of content and behavior that we allow. All users must adhere to the policies set forth in the LiveTube Rules. Failure to do so may result in the temporary locking and/or permanent suspension of account(s).

Please note that we may need to change these rules from time to time and reserve the right to do so. The most current version will always be available at livetube.tv/rules.

 

Content Boundaries and Use of LiveTube

In order to provide the LiveTube service and the ability to live broadcast and watch live content, there are some limitations on the type of content that can be published with LiveTube.

Trademark: We reserve the right to reclaim usernames on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold legal claim or trademark on those usernames. Accounts using business names and/or logos to mislead others may be permanently suspended.

Copyright: We will respond to clear and complete notices of alleged copyright infringement. Our copyright procedures are set forth in the Terms of Service.

Content: You may not use the following content in your profile, your profile picture, or any information promoting upcoming LiveTubes. You may not start a live broadcast involving content from the list below. Our producers will decline any live broadcast in breach of the content list below. Accounts violating our content rules may be permanently suspended. We also reserve the right to report users to the authorities, when they are in breach of applicable laws.

• p*********y, adult or mature content
• Violent content
• Content that threatens or advocates for harm on oneself or others
• Content that harasses, intimidates or bullies an individual or group of individuals
• Content that incites hatred against, promotes discrimination of or disparages an individual or group on the basis of their race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, s****l orientation, gender, gender identity, or another characteristic that is associated with systemic discrimination or marginalization
• Excessive profanity
• Hacking/cracking content
• Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia content
• Content that promotes, sells or advertises products obtained from endangered or threatened species.
• Sales of beer or hard alcohol
• Sales of tobacco or tobacco-related products
• Sales of prescription drugs
• Sales of weapons or ammunition (e.g., firearms, firearm components, fighting knives, stun guns)
• Sales or distribution of coursework or student essays
• Content regarding programs which compensate users for clicking ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites or reading emails
• Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others

Unlawful use: You may not use our service for any unlawful purposes or in furtherance of illegal activities. International users agree to comply with all local laws regarding

 

Abusive Behavior

We believe in freedom of expression and in speaking truth to power, but that means little as an underlying philosophy if voices are silenced because people are afraid to speak up. In order to ensure that people feel safe expressing diverse opinions and beliefs, we do not tolerate behavior that crosses the line into abuse, including behavior that harasses, intimidates, or uses fear to silence another user’s voice.

Any accounts and related accounts engaging in the activities specified below may be temporarily locked and/or subject to permanent suspension.

Violent threats (direct or indirect): You may not make threats of violence or promote violence, including threatening or promoting terrorism.

Harassment: You may not incite or engage in the targeted abuse or harassment of others. This includes our producers as well as everyone working at LiveTube and all registered LiveTube users. Some of the factors that we may consider when evaluating abusive behavior include:

• if a primary purpose of the reported account is to harass or send abusive messages to others;
• if the reported behavior is one-sided or includes threats;
• if the reported account is inciting others to harass another account; and
• if the reported account is sending harassing messages to an account from multiple accounts.

Hateful conduct: You may not promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, s****l orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or disease. We also do not allow accounts whose primary purpose is inciting harm towards others on the basis of these categories.

Multiple account abuse: Creating multiple accounts with overlapping uses or in order to evade the temporary or permanent suspension of a separate account is not allowed.

Private information: You may not publish, broadcast or post other people's private and confidential information, such as credit card numbers, street address, or Social Security/National Identity numbers, without their express authorization and permission. LiveTube reserves the right to immediately terminate your account without further notice in the event that, in its judgment, you violate these Rules or the Terms of Service.
