Trump Accuses Manhattan DAâs Office of âIllegal Leaksâ
Former President Donald Trump stated that âillegal leaksâ from the Manhattan District Attorneyâs office indicate that he will be arrested on Tuesday next weekâ
The statement comes after reports that the Manhattan District Attorneyâs office is preparing to issue an indictment for alleged hush money payments made by Trump as a presidential candidate in 2016â.
Law enforcement agencies at the local, state, and federal levels are preparing for the possibility that the former president may be indicted as early as next week in relation to the hush money payment to Stormy Daniels, according to NBC News.
The former US president called on his supporters to protest and called the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office ‘corrupt’

In a post on his Truth Social site, the former president called the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office “corrupt” as a grand jury prepared to decide whether he should be indicted and face charges over the allegations.
It came after NBC, AP and other US media reported that law enforcement was preparing for Mr Trump to be indicted as “early as next week” in connection with purported payments to Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, and other women who alleged sexual encounters with him.
Police sources told the networks that they were preparing for potential rallies outside of the Manhattan courthouse by Trump supporters.
There has been no public announcement of any timeframe for the Manhattan grand jury’s secret work, including any potential vote on whether to indict the ex-president.
Alleged Hush Money Payments to Stormy Daniels
The Manhattan investigation centers on a $130,000 payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in the final days of Trumpâs 2016 presidential campaign after she said sheâd had an affair with himâ.

Steven Cheung, a spokesperson for Trumpâs campaign, stated that even the âmost Radical Left Democratsâ are making it clear that Trump is innocent, and criticized the various investigations into Trumpâs actionsâ.
