Passengers on Qatar Airways flight QR948 to Singapore were among those stranded at Hamad International Airport in Doha on Tuesday (Jun 24), after its airspace was closed when Iran fired missiles at the US military base of Al Udeid in Qatar. Travellers spoke of long queues, frustration and anxiety as people scrambled to get on another flight. One passenger, whose Monday night flight was cancelled, said she queued for around 8 hours to rebook a flight, only to have it cancelled as well. Around 250 flights were cancelled at Hamad International Airport and another 238 were delayed, according to FlightRadar24.
