Thailand’s second-largest party in government pulled out on Wednesday (Jun 18) over a leaked phone call between Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and Cambodia’s former leader Hun Sen, amid border tensions between both countries. The loss of 69 parliamentary seats leaves Paetongtarn’s ruling coalition with a slimmer majority. It has also raised concerns over whether the 10 remaining partners will follow suit.
