Man Harasses Women and Hurls Them into Ravine: Prosecutor Suspects Initial Sexual Offense, Followed by Shocking Attack<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Update 3:59 pm German time:<\/strong><\/em> The women encountered the 30-year-old man during a hike on Wednesday afternoon. Before the violent attack, he had reportedly harassed them sexually. The location of their meeting is described as east of Marienbr\u00fccke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victims were found lying next to each other about 50 meters deep in the ravine. The rescue operation was carried out by Bergwacht F\u00fcssen, a local mountain rescue service. The 22-year-old woman was responsive when found, while her friend was airlifted to a clinic where she succumbed to her injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 30-year-old suspect was presented before a magistrate at the Kempten District Court following his arrest. The court approved the prosecutor's request for an arrest warrant, and the suspect has been placed in a correctional facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the wake of the incident, police are asking for any witnesses who may have seen the crime or any suspicious activity beforehand to come forward. They can contact Kempten's Criminal Police at the phone number 0831\/9909-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operations at the Neuschwanstein Castle and Marienbr\u00fccke have returned to normal as of June 15th, according to a castle staff member.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Update 3:40 pm German time<\/strong>: <\/em>According to the German newspaper Bild<\/a>, all three individuals - the two women as well as the perpetrator are US citizens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
