# LiveTube LiveTube is a global live news platform enabling real-time citizen journalism. Anyone with a smartphone can stream unfolding events directly from the scene. A professional cloud-based newsroom connects with each reporter in real time during their broadcast. LiveTube newsroom producers monitor and guide reporters throughout the stream. They use advanced technology—including artificial intelligence, GPS location data, image and audio analysis, weather and air-traffic data, and social media sources—to verify and validate the authenticity of the live stream. Each broadcast includes a 30-second delay, allowing producers to intervene if necessary for safety, legal, or ethical reasons. Verified and approved streams are published to the LiveTube app, shared with media partners, and distributed via social media platforms. Once selected for broadcast, the reporter receives an instant base payment, followed by per-minute earnings.
