Singapore interim football head coach Gavin Lee said he and his players want to be a team the country can be proud of. Despite just two wins in their last 10 games and no permanent coach, the Lions are setting their sights on history. They face India twice in a week in their bid to qualify for the Asian Cup on merit — a feat which would be a first for the country. The Lions are now ranked 158th in the world, after reaching 73rd in the early 1990s. The AFC Asian Cup qualifier between Singapore and India will be available live on meWatch at 7.30pm on Thursday.
