Witnesses at the scene suggest that the shooting took place outside Nick’s Bar & Grill at around 7pm ET. A chilling tweet from an eyewitness expressed shock and fear, stating, “A SHOOTING ON HOLLYWOOD BEACH JUST HAPPENED IN FRONT OF ME, MULTIPLE PEOPLE SHOT WITH STRAY BULLETS.โ
Hollywood Beach Mayor Josh Levy informed WFOR-TV that the immediate response saw victims treated by police and paramedics at the scene, followed by transportation to nearby hospitals. Levy expressed uncertainty about the exact nature of the incident, suggesting that some individuals might have been unintended targets caught in the crossfire.
