LiveTube – Viewer Support
Some content on LiveTube may be distressing. Live news captures real events as they happen, and that can sometimes be difficult to watch. If you or someone you know has been affected by anything you have seen, help is available. You are not alone.
How LiveTube Supports Viewers

Tips for Looking After Yourself
Take a break. If content is upsetting, close the app and step away. You can always come back later.
Talk to someone. Whether it is a friend, family member or one of the helplines above, talking helps.
Limit your exposure. It is okay to set boundaries on how much live news you watch, especially during major events.
Check on others. If someone you know seems affected by something they have seen, ask how they are doing.
For Reporters
If you are a LiveTube reporter and have witnessed or filmed a distressing event, your wellbeing matters too. Contact our editorial team or reach out to any of the helplines listed above. Reporting the news should never come at the cost of your mental health.
